If you stay with us here at the Hanoi Posh Hotel, you will only be a short walk (about 5 minutes) away from the Municipal Water Puppet Theatre, sometimes called the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. Whether you have kids or not, we suggest seeing the show. We guarantee that unless you come back to Hanoi again – you’ll never see anything quite like it again. And with prices running about $3 - for the cheap seats and $5 for the best seats, how can you go wrong. They do charge extra for still and video cameras. Shows are at 4:30pm, 6:30pm and 8:00pm with one additional show at 9:3am on Sundays. The programs are free and they explain the plays in multiple languages, so be sure to take one per family.
