We offer free pickup if you are arriving by train. Just tell us the details of your arrival, and we’ll be there when you arrive. If we know your bed number, we’ll even meet you as you come down the steps!
If you want to take a taxi from the train station on your own, then please print this out and have it handy.
If you are taking a taxi by yourself from the train station, walk out to the street.
There are many scams that run at the train station, so please be careful and don't let anyone grab your bag!
Go to the taxi stands of these two taxi companies only:
Mai linh or Hanoi Taxi - The telephone number on the side of the taxi (for Hanoi Taxi) should be 38.21.21.21, 38.56.56.56, 38.53.53.53 or 38.56.56.56. There are LOTS of scams here, and copycat taxis are one of the most common. Many of these fly-by-night taxis companies may try to cheat you, so only use these 2 companies coming from the train station. Show them this note. It politely asks them to take you to the Hanoi Posh Hotel, and offers the standard fare of 50,000 VND. That’s the standard fare for the trip. If they do not agree, don’t worry, there are dozens of others drivers waiting behind that one who will take you to The Hanoi Posh Hotel for this fare!
